I Heart Faces is hosting a new monthly challenge...

There is a new contest afoot with I Heart Faces. There is now a monthly prize, which is very cool, although just a 'winner' button was already a pretty great prize. This month is Black n White.

I chose to enter this maternity photo, which is a different angle on the face theme. I like how this shows the pregnancy, but really focuses on mom.  The black dress and background really let mom be the center of attention, instead of just her tummy.  It suggests her connection to her future child as she holds her belly and contemplates. It feels very calm and quiet to me.
