So, I am going to put some of my images into a "show!" It is for a lobby of a theater production (small scale) but I am so geeked out! I actually had to create some things to put in, because I couldn't very well use portraits of people's children, which is most of my portfolio thus far. Here are some of the new images: I went with a "Textured" theme. I have been inspired and playing with textures from Kim Klassen. http://www.kimklassencafe.com/ She has some beautiful work, and free/affordable textures on her site. I found her through Amanda Padgett's Everyday Elements, http://everydayelementsonline.com/ (which looks very promising, if I ever get time to explore further!) Anyway, it is the first time I have really gotten into the idea. I don't tend to like the portraits with textures, but somehow the photos of objects really clicked with me.

I love Kim Klassen! Im looking forward to taking another class this year. The next essentials class is supposed to teach you when and what textures to use. Congrats on your photos being shown!
